I keep on hearing, reading that it is because of ArmorAll or similar products being used on them. It is waterbased paint and it reacts to chemicals. I believe it, but it doesn't solve the problem. I will probably go the SEM route. Feather out the damage, lightly coat it, and see how it turns out.

Since this is the official GMT800 site, I would like to hear the solutions people have discovered for solving this problem. Tips, advice, websites, whatever's helpful!

Always ran Snugtop fiberglass covers on my trucks until now. Decided to go with a hard, folding tonneau cover since my latest truck is lifted. The fiberglass covers look better, but the folding cover I got now is a lot more practical and easier to haul stuff with. It's an Undercover Flex cover...
