Good info thank you, and the differences in plow mounts, maybe my answer lays there I'll do some research

In the pictures I attached it labels with triangles what measurements are the body mounts and they are the same Ok so 99-02 and 03-07 you can Switch beds ? Switch front ends ? Switch cabs ? If so the all the mounts have to be the same ?

So from a website https://www.gmupfitter.com/pages/body-builder-manuals I can find measurement for both frames and they appear to be the same but on the 2005 one it says 2002 in it THe first picture is for a 2005 and the second is of a 2002 I'm uploading from my phone not sure how clear it will be

Posted this question in another forum with no answers So I got a 2002 Silverado 1500 4.3 5 speed 4x4 for 300 bucks it was going to the junk yard because it's rusted out in the rear ..... Looking on car-part.com I can get a whole frame out of state, none in my state, for about 500-600...
