I think I also have an exhaust leak now, which doesn't help. As to oil pressure, at idle my Tahoe can go down to 25. It's almost never above 50, even under load. I pulled my Camaro from Phoenix to Tucson and back. I've gone on three 800+ mile trips. Consistent oil pressure is more important than hitting 10psi per 1k rpm. Knowing what the tick is, is probably the most important.</blockquote>
