Dash Cam

Good Morning,
I am looking for "ideas" and suggestions in an effort to find a decent way to mount a Dash Cam in my 2005 Tahoe. Preferable without causing damage to the dash . . . Thanks in advance for the great answers.

Two sided tape under the mount for the camera? Route any wires in the gap between windshield and dash to grab power and etc.
