I own a 2005 Tahoe Z71 and a 2004 Silverado K2500HD with the 6.0 and 4L80E. Both the same silver birch metallic color. Before the 05 Tahoe I also owned an 02 Tahoe with barn doors. Wish I could find a Z71 with barn doors and same color as now. My work on my current Tahoe is well documented at the Tahoe/Yukon Forum in my Build Thread. One of the things that really sets these trucks off is how comfortable the seats are.
