To make it work I would invest in some GM perf.parts LS6 valve springs to help out with the "small" amount of lift that the cam will offer, plus the GMPP are good to .550 lift and cheap as well. The lifters will require you to pop off the heads, needing new head gaskets (2x) and head bolts( one time use only ) a new harmonic balancer bolt( also 1x use ) other then that it will all bolt in...... As long as it is a 3 bolt cam core, and a single bolt core. I would look into water pump. timing chain/gears, oil pump O-ring or pump if you wish, but all things that have a lot of miles on them to be replaced because you already in there and no need to go back in 2x for no reason.
