Stripped Bell Housing-to-Case Bolt

Welp, I was able to get help with a table for my transmission. It’s finally off the pallet that I put it on probably 1-2 months ago. Great, awesome, outstanding ………. too outstanding. Went to take the bell housing off, all came out no problem, but one singular bolt stripped. I used Kroil penetrating fluid on all of them twice over and let it set a minute or two between. Others were mostly no problem, no stripping, nothing at all. Any tips on extraction bits or tricks? I don’t own a drill, dremmel tool, or welder. I could try to get the maintenance guy at my workplace to help me out, but I pissed him off when I put the table up to his specifications(he cut the wood and pre drilled holes, I just assembled it), and it wouldn’t go together. Turns out he drilled the holes wrong and told me that if I “couldn’t figure out a box, I shouldn’t be working on my transmission”. Idk about yall, but I took offense to it. Either way, I’d rather not try to weld a nut on if possible. Any help is needed, thanks

Umm, well that's gonna be a PIA to get out without any one of those tools...

I would try to hammer in something that fits as close to that. Heat it with a torch. Either a hand impact driver (I don't own one, but hear they work well) or an impact gun.

I'd drill it, using the head for centering. Then put an old school straight flute extractor in it.

I also believe these are not standard T-50 torx... they use a T-50 "torx plus" bit... too much play in the standard bit causes stripping.

too late now I know, but just an FYI for future

sux working on these things without any tools... I'd heat it to cherry red and hammer the next size bit in, then use slow steady torque on it rather than an impact.

I was using a torx plus bit. I ordered it from Sonnax. I’m thinking it was either the weird angle that it’s in the bell housing, or whoever was in the transmission last. Either way, I’ll probably replace all eight with the ICT Billet hex bolt style for easier access next time(hopefully I won’t need it).
