Never noticed it till recently that my switch dont kill the window lock led when I open the door after turning off the truck. Does this indicate a bad led or bad switch? Everything else turns off as it should. Even 3 hours later it is still on. This will drain my battery in 2 days.

Where is it getting power from? If it has a switch, is there anything else on that switch? What does that switch control? The led is not the problem. It is doing what it is told to do.

Yea, they call those door lock actuators now. Can you simulate closing and opening the door/latch and see what happens?

It does sound like a bad door lock actuator. It has power and and obvious good ground but the switch mechanism inside the actuator is not interrupting that power when triggrred to do so. Best guess at this point. I have replaced them before. They are pricey for a good one, even at RA. You may go to swap it and when doing the work, you find the actual problem and can return the actuator.
What year is it again? You can see a couple decent videos at you tube.

If it is the latch assembly that latches the door when you close it, it is a door lock actuator. I may be confused with your description. The door lock actuator triggers the overhead dome light, lights in your door panel that light the footwell and also controls turning radio off if playing when open the door and also triggers a "door ajar" warning.

I just reread the first post. Is that controlled by the light dimmer wheel? I never paid attention and now I will. I hope. I still gotta sleep and hope that I remember. I will make a note for myself.

I looked and that switch is part of the whole one piece assembly. You may be able to lift/pop the trim up and elevate the whole switch assembly and just look at all the connections for any problems, disconnect all connectors and just the act of unplugging and plugging back in can clean and then work sometimes. Or you may have to buy the entire master switch assembly.

I promised I would check mine and I did. I tried every switch in the truck but the only time the window lock switch lit up was when I depressed that switch. On and Off were both controlled by that switch. The easiest way to address is to just unplug that connector or replace the switch. I have looked and cannot see where I can buy just the switch for the window lock, instead of the entire window switch assembly. It may be out there but I cannot find it. I will reach out to a GM parts guy on another forum for a GM part number, if there is a separate switch.

No
That doesn’t kill your battery in two days. The dome light could be on for 3 days and you still could crank the truck. You have more than one parasitic drain. Need to diagnose it
