That's a clean lookin' 'Burb!
3/4 ton too. But I do not tow anything and is not needed. Plus, the mileage is higher than I would want, too.

This one is more my style but way to big a price. I have talked to the seller and he came down $1000 on his advertised price. All the paperwork for maintenance and repairs is there. I have pics of all of the paperwork. There is a big glaring maintenance missing. No transmission fluid and filter changes but the seller says there is no transmission problems and the fluid looks good. That is not good enough for me. I have told him that I would be a buyer in the $14k to $15k range, only after I inspect it, but he says no.

He wants B.A.T. money on a CL ad.

Clean rig, but no way at that price. I spy a trailer brake controller and 4 previous owners on the Carfax. 6.0 and a brake controller... we know one of those 4 previous owners worked it. And no transmission service? I'm out. It also looks like there is a good amount of wear on the plastic part of the lower center console between the seats. Usually no biggie, but when I am paying 19K for a 20 year old rig that changes.

If the owners doesn't want to wiggle on price, maybe they would be willing to eat the cost of a transmission service/inspection? Loft the idea of having him take it to a certified transmission shop and have them service the transmission? How much does that cost these days?

He did forward to me, repair and maintenance records while he owns it and a couple of the previous owners. They included lots of fluid services and plugs/wires replacements and there was a rear pinion seal leak repair and the interesting thing was the bearings had been replaced in the transfer case and front differential. It is an AWD after all. He also volunteered that the work was done by an ASE Master Tech that has a shop at his house. Also said there was a bit of growling noise after the bearings replacement but was assured, by the tech, that the noise was normal. He told me he towed a 22 foot boat with it but what did the previous owners tow with it?
