I’m in CA near San Jose, South Bay Area but regularly travel to many different places. I’m willing to check it out if I’m within 20/30 miles. I’ll keep an eye out.

Mine is a Florida / eastern North Carolina truck. Perfect rockers, cab corners, and floorboards and had 118k back in 2016. Even the rear fender lip had no rust when I got it. Since moving back to Kentucky, I’m seeing a little rust about right rear tire but that’s it. I went from a 2003 with the 5.3 to an 04 with the 4.8. As long as I’m not loaded heavy, I don’t notice the difference.

Idles at 60 psi oil pressure? Better contact him asap. Plus the mileage at 92455 is just a hair over 4k miles average a year.

Wish mine had the cloth seats.

60 psi at hot idle seems a bit high. Could be pressure sensor or if the gauge cluster has been pulled apart somebody put the needle back in the wrong spot. Otherwise looks pretty nice. Unfortunately it’s about 100 miles from me.

A quick live data check would clear all doubt. You can get an inexpensive Foxwell NT301 Live Data scanner for $70 at Amazon.

I've been looking every day to the point where I can't tell if I've seen the same truck over and over. Unfortunately I won't have some cash in hand until I sell my truck but I've been approved for $18k from the bank. I don't feel very comfortable dealing with facebookers unless there's one near Atlanta where I have a very close friend who I trust so I guess that limits me to dealer only.

I'm not giving up! I learned a lot from hiring a pre purchase inspection, and will do so on the next one I find. I will absolutely stay posting ones I find and I'm super grateful for those of you posting great trucks.

MultiVAC ...grandpa truck seems worthy! But the bank probably wouldn't agree lol. I love that other one you posted too but I've come to realize, and I think ORVietVet will agree, if I'm looking for a 20 y.o truck, I might as well get the exact one I want .. Crew cab 6.5ft bed and 4x4

Thank you so much for pointing that out. I've seen a few that have well over 60psi at idle. I would have never noticed unless you said something

In the future, when you want to reference another member in the post on a thread, just type the @ sign and then start typing the member's screen name and a drop down menu will appear and you can click on the member's screen name and when you actually post the response, the member will get an alert to the post and come see what is going on.
It's called Tagging the member.

Stick to your guns and do not rush it. Gonna pay a pretty penny for what you want and need to be happy with the pick and what ever it may need. The one I bought Dec. 1, I had first looked at on July 7th.
