My name is Jayden and I am from Alberta, Canada.

I got a 2005 chevy Avalanche 1500 with the 5.3. I have loved it. It has 33inch tires and I about about to install a level that I got. I put some light bars in the front and have some plans to do a lot of over landing and truck camping.

Heres a photo from the first time I went out and camped in it around -5 C.

I actually used to own a 2002 Avalanche 1500. It's nice to be able to camp in it by moving from the rear seat area and get under the bed cover. Can all be done from the inside. I almost bought an Avalanche 2500 recently. It was for sale at B.A.T. and the owner was 70 miles away in Florence, Or. and he allowed me to come inspect it and drive it. Very nice no rust truck. But it went for more than I wanted to pay at the auction. I bought my current 2004 K2500HD instead. Please post more pics as you build it out.

Sounds good! I have been thinking about what to do with that plastic so that helps a lot! I have heard bumper paint is good as it is made for plastic and is more flexible!
