I should be picking up my new to me 02 2500 HD Crew Cab Longbed 8.1 Thursday, the places selling it to me has offered to fix the windshield and radio for me first.

BTW, i know it has an 03 grille, I guess a freezer rolled off the dock into it and they had it repainted lol.

Yeah, it's not terribly lively here lol.

It has a few issues I need to deal with, nothing major, could use a tune up, some exhaust, tow haul doesn't work, radio has no antenna.

This Friday I'm having the Mud Hog's from Pigpen swapped over, the oil changed, and the spin on filter on the Allison changed. I'll probably repeat that shortly after New Years also.

I'd like to get some rust prevention going, since it's already basically winter here in Michigan, I think I'm just going to hose the under side down with Bar Oil for the time being.

Steering need's some work, I'll probably throw an idler and pitman arm at it.

Then a little crank with maybe a small block in the rear and the Cognito arms.

Sounds like a plan. Your tow haul is most likely the wire, they tend to break. You can fix it or upgrade to a gmt900 shifter!

Got the 285's on today, my truck seems like it sits lower than the other ones I see around.
