Rear brake line along frame 04 Silverado.

Has anyone here replaced the line from the ABS controller to the rear axle before?
Pre formed lines or made your own? I am having trouble making the u turn into the controller.
I dont think i could force a pre formed one between the tank and the frame.

I had a shop replace that line on my 04. They made their own and ran it over the tank. Repair was cheaper than if they dropped the tank. They said there was no way to worm it between the tank and the frame without kinking the line.

That makes sense, its been a bear trying to get through there. i managed it once and when i tried to form the U turn while lying under the truck i kinked it

I used a stainless prebent kit from inlinetube. I dropped my tank to put that line in. I wanted everything to be exactly where it belongs and in their respected mounts.

Since I "discovered" ni-cop brake lines, I do all my own lines. It's cheap, easy to use, and very corrosion resistant. Combined with a good flare tool, you're set to do anything.

i made a line, and by made i mean i brought a pre made line and made a j shape to go into the abs controller and then had the local shop make a line to poke down the frame, and joined the two.
It doesnt look pretty, but its mostly in the right place.
