I spotted this Regency conversion (I think) in our visitor lot at the plant this morning. I’d seen the standard cab version but this is the first extended cab I’d seen.

I think Regency was a conversion company. I’d run across standard cabs before today.

Is it a 2wd truck set up?

I’m thinking this one is 2WD. Although I have read where Regency did conversions on the 4x4s also. I thought I’d read where they went out of business around 2009.

This one appears to be very well cared for. I didn’t see any rot on rockers or fenderwells.

I remember seeing those conversions back in high school around here, but on the previous generation of trucks (graduated HS in 2001).

I didn't know they were based local-ish.

I remember some wood trim on the interiors, full-clad integrated wheel spoilers, those 90s small and wide wheels, graphics and whatnot. Some of that stuff was becoming a fad back then.

That link seems a bit more of a performance oriented modifications (which I like more over the fu-fu stuff...)

Same here. (2003) almost bought one before I joined the Navy. Im pretty sure it was a Texas thing
