My buddy has an 01 just like that in red. His younger brother had bought another one, but 03 or 04 in blue. The blue one got hit and the insurance totaled it. So my buddy bought it back, got the rear axle replaced and found another bed and got it repainted. Both trucks have now over 400k each. Both oringinal 4.3 engines and original 4L60e transmissions. Pretty impressive!

He still washes/waxes the red truck weekly and gets tons of compliments all the time...
