Currently running Toyo OpenCountry AT3 121/118S in 285/70R17.
These make a little more noise than the Michelin Defenders and the Continental TerrainContact A/T's that I've run in the past one this truck.
Keep in mind they are an A/T not a highway All-Season. There's a bit of understeer associated with these -- not terrible but definitely noticeable compared to the Michelin Defenders I just took off. Overall a comfortable tire, but I only have 1700 miles on them and experienced a shake/vibration which seemed to be coming from one of the rear tires. Americas Tire has rebalanced them but I'll keep an eye on it and see if that takes care of the vibration.

Traction so far on wet highways and some slushy snow on arterial roads has proved predictable. No real issue there. Not sure how much more snow we'll experience this year but probably some more rain in store for us. Might get it out on some dirt roads this summer also. I gotta say the aggressive look of these tires really looks good on this truck. I'll keep this updated as I get some miles on them.

The new to us, Silverado K2500HD, came to us with new BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A K02 tires on it. I personally have no close up pics but will try and post a pic from a site alont with some truck pics. The jury is still out but one thing I have noticed is how quiet they are and they do a good job in all the rain we have around here.

Well on our way back from WA the truck developed a pretty good shake starting at about 60mph getting worse the faster you go. At 75 it’s shaking pretty good that my wife had to ask what was wrong.

Went back to Americas Tire when we got back and talked with them. They rotated them and rebalanced them. It improved slightly but was definitely still there but felt more up front. Put another 100 miles on and didn’t get any better. Tried one more rebalance with no improvement. So talked with AT manager and they agreed to swap them for Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. They run smooth up to 80mph.

I was bummed I actually liked the way they looked and was willing to put up with the increased noise except for the shake/vibration. I still might give these another try when I’m looking for tires for the 2000 z71 later this year.
