Zumbrota is around $1500 w/actuator, GM is I think I was quoted around $2300; both w/o core charges. Kodiak for $900 is really good. The actuator is around $200 as far as I know.

On the Kodiak you would have to ship them your old one, which I have no idea how much that would cost...

Have you looked at any local places that may rebuild them as well? Usually it's like transmission shops.

I have, mostly they are getting them from Autozone, it seems the small rebuilder is going the way of the engine builder machine shops, slowly disappearing as the guys retire. There are still shops in Indianapolis and Chicago.

Thankfully there is a member at TYF and GMT400, NickTransmissions, that is in Vegas and likely can do them or knows of who is good at it in different areas. I have a place, here in Eugene, Or. that is tops of the trade. Transmission Solutions.
