I want to add a bed cover to my 2001, if you have one or had one please post pics and tell me about your bed cover like brand....likes dislikes etc, or tonneau....soft or hard... I watched this best Tonneau Covers but it couldn't be more informational.

Any thoughts? Has anyone done this? Thanks

First time around was Tonno Pro trifold. It got threadbare along the edges after about 4 years. I just replaced it with a Smittybilt trifold. It doesn't cover as much as the Tonno Pro did, but it might last better due to a different material.

I recently added a Truxedo Pro X15 cover to my '01. I had one on my '96, and loved it. Easy to mount, and remove if i need to
The cross bed supports really help. Heavy snow was never an issue.

Don't know if still in business. I just bought my 2004 K2500HD and it has a sliding aluminum cover made by Retrax Pro Tonneau, that was installed in 2017 and still works great and is lockable. I am in Oregon and there is no salt on roads and that may play in to the longevity of this cover for the short bed of this truck.
