I have these tools for sale at CL and FB. Not the extension or the breaker bar, just the flex head metric ratchets. Only used 2 of them twice and are like new. Mac Tool used to sell them, SXRFBM102, for $570 and I have them listed for $400 Or Best Offer. They work like new. Comes with the metal magnetic rack. The little towers they set on are adjustable and able to be locked down. I really don't want to ship them, but I will.

When I ran shops and needed to get the story behind the vehicle problem, the first thing I always did was ask the driver that drives the vehicle the most and/or experiences the problem the most, whoever it may be, male or female, to tell me the story. I would make notes and when they were done, I then asked more qualifying questions to try and pinpoint the problem(s) and when they would happen.

I had so many people tell me that they had been to other shops and they never got to talk to anyone from the shop. My questions surprised them. That involved the customer in the diagnosis and repair of the problem(s). I basically did not let them be left out of the process.

I have my experience and qualifications and certificates out on CL and FB, in an ad for a job as a remote Automotive Service Manager/Writer/Advisor. I don't need to be at the shop to do that. Pics and computers and phones allow me to do all I need to do. I have a couple shop owners that are interested but not ready to jump yet. My pay would be minimal compared to being there and my medical is covered by VA and my hours are flexible.

I have decided to put my tools up for sale at CL and FB.

I am getting older by the day, my inguinal hernia gives me fits at times and I have to take breaks more often when doing these jobs. I also want to start taking more trips with my girl and eventually.....I hate to say this.....I will be stopping most work except for simple oil changes and just under hood simple work or maybe.....dare I say it.....stop working on vehicles altogether. If that happens, my complete set of tools will be for sale. Both Snap On boxes and all tools in them plus 1 of my 2 floor jacks and other items that are not in my boxes. Such as ramps, battery charging stations for the powered tools, jack stands.....etc. This set of tools is for a hard core DIY'er or an existing tech in a shop or for a guy/girl that wants to start a career that A-I will not take over. Depending on how my body holds up over the spring and summer, that will determine how quick I "MAY" sell the tools. This is an opening notice of what will eventually happen and to see who is serious.

I will not, I repeat, WILL NOT, sell these boxes and tools separately. This is and will be a CASH PRICE TAKES ALL and whoever gets them can stay off the tool trucks, where you would be in debt for years to come, and have a career that the dreaded A-I onslaught cannot touch. Or, you will have a DIY set of tools that you can be proud of. I am a retired ASE Master Tech and want these tools to go to a serious career tech or serious DIY'er.
There will be only 2 pics posted here and I will only share multiple others to who contacts via CL email....ONLY. If I believe you are serious, I will have you to my house to view them. The 24 pics limit is not even half of what I would need to be able to do the advertising of what I got, justice. Like so many big sets, there are numerous tools that are still completely new and never been used. Happens when you buy kits/sets, instead of piece by piece.

I still have the desire to do the work but those final days are coming, likely within the next 2 years.

I am putting this out there to make sense of what I am going to say next. When I stop, I stop and will pay someone else to do the work, including oil changes. At that point, I will be selling my tools. Both Snap on boxes and all tools in them. 1 floor jack and any related stands, ramps and tools that are outside the boxes.

This set of tools is for a very hard core DIY'er, an existing shop tech or a guy/gal that wants to get in a career that A-I will not replace. The tools are 90% Snap On, Mac, Matco, SK, Craftsman USA, ICON, Blue Point, Gearwrench, Autel, Foxwell, Klein, Milwaukee.......etc. Not counting batteries and charging stations, I have 10 different powered Milwaukee tools. I also have a like brand new, shop battery charger.

They will not go cheap and will not be sold separately. Retail price is between $60k to $70k. Out the garage door is no where near that and any reasonable price will be accepted. Again, I am saying this now so that if someone is serious about this, they will have time to mull it over and also get funds together.

To still stay in the game, I am looking for either remote or at shop, service writer/advisor/manager positions.
