Steering Stabilizer - need a new tapered stud/bolt

So im trying to install a new stabilizer on my truck. I was trying to install the tapered stud by using the nut to bring it into the steering linkage.

Did not work. Sheared the stud. anyone know where to find just the hardware?

I looked at the GM dealer, AZ and NAPA and none of them sell the hardware kit separate. Likely gonna be a HELP line kit somewhere.

I looked at RA and under "shock mount I see plates, like what the other end of the shock goes in to for the non tapered bolt to mount the shock with and nothing under shock anything or steering damper anything shows the tapered bolt like you supplied a pic of and what I saw in the video. I must be blind. That was by application.

BUT, the P01368 does come up and looks like just what you want. Whatever way it was found, great and will fix the problem.

strange it doesnt fall under the category in the vehicle, i saw it in a google search for rock auto and figured it would be under the vehicle. sometimes parts fall through the cracks

Agreed. I thought it should come up under the vehicle application as well as when you just punch in a part #.

oddly, the truck is less wandery on the freeway and driving on dirt and roads etc..... without a stabilizer.
I think thats because i made my steering better by fixing my reduced flow problem in my cooler, which made steering heavy and i think that made the road inputs act more harshly than would normally. I also have valvoline PSF since im not rich to get cold climate GM stuff yet (need to flush it enough first... thats expensive!)
I used a bit of Seafoam trans tune to continue conditioning and cleaning varnish in the system, but the old nasty fluid (which has been sucked and filled about 4 times) was still nasty, so its working. The new fluid is lighter (viscosity is lower) than the stuff i removed, but it has on the bottle it meets GM spec for PSF and the same color, so thats good. The stabilizer was not fully worn out, but its not a consistent resistance when actuating by hand, but the new one does. so that probably added to the wander issue. I still need steering parts but dear god i barely notice it now despite one tie rod having a noticeable amount of play when i went to grease all the shot boots. lol. only 2 joints had muddy grease come out, the rest were surprisingly clean with the last time i pumped them

That did that likely for years, it probably also why the fluid was poop brown when i first got it (heat degredation, not rust)
