2005 2500HD Auxiliary power outlet

I recently purchased a 2005 Chevy 2500HD W/T. The cigarette lighter is working but the auxiliary 12v outlet to the left of it in the dash is not. I have checked the 20 amp aux power fuse in the underhood fuse box it is good, I also swapped it out with a new fuse because you never know. There is no fuse installed in the aux power 2 location in the interior fuse panel, nor are there contacts for one. But I have no power at the aux power outlet. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Have you taken the time to track where the connector, at back, gets its power? Have you removed and even checked the connector. A 12 volt test light, when you get to the back of it, can do the testing quickly. You may also have a bad outlet.
