Welcome to the forum from Oregon.
The GMT800 series ran from 1999 thru 2006. The 2010 Express Van series is in a different year. Plus the dash pod area's are sure to be different. I would ASSUME that NO is the answer but I could be wrong. I belong to 4 total GM forums and have never seen a complete dash unit swap. First question: Why? Second question: Why not use a dash out of a GMT800 truck?
Welcome to the forum from Alaska! I do not have an answer to the question, but if you end up doing it, post a build thread please.
Having been in a few Express vans over the years, I seem to remember the angle of the windshield being different, and possibly the driving position. I would measure the depth of the GMT800 dash and the depth of the Express van dash at the yard. If similar both in depth and width, I say go for it. You can make anything work with enough hot metal and gas!I’m just looking to modernize my burb. It’s got a 8.1 in it and I’d like to add a newer looking dash and steering wheel and the express vans haven’t changed dimensions since they came out with the gmt800. So want to see if a 07.5-13 express style dash would work. Both dashes are nearly identical in width
Yes, contact Digital Dash Solutions.Having been in a few Express vans over the years, I seem to remember the angle of the windshield being different, and possibly the driving position. If you're just looking for a refreshed look, perhaps a new cluster with different gauges. The clusters between GMT800s are interchangeable, and there are tons of guys rebuilding them. I ordered a 2500HD cluster for my 1500 from a guy on ebay, and it gave it really modernized the interior. If you're after 'elegance' you could always do the Escalade or Yukon Denali cluster.
I just posted up an picture of my cluster in the build thread for my 04
Good luck, this sounds like a cool project!
I will add more when I get the dash and do some measurements trying to find the measurements online is nearly impossible. My dad is buddies with a junk yard/ tow truck company going to see if he’ll let me buy a rust shot cab to use as a templateHaving been in a few Express vans over the years, I seem to remember the angle of the windshield being different, and possibly the driving position. I was kinda curious about the why and could it be done and now I want to see this.I will add more when I get the dash and do some measurements trying to find the measurements online is nearly impossible.
