Crew Cab Dome lights

Hello GMT800,

I have a new to me 2006 Silverado. I can't seem to figure out if I have an issue or not. When I open the front or rear doors, my dome lights by my rearview mirror come on like I would expect, however the center dome lights do not ever come on unless I push the individual black button for either side. IS this light supposed to comer on for a courtesy light or only when switched? I appreciate the help! Love the sight. Bought this 2006 1500 LT1 4WD CrewCab with 203k miles on it. Running good, Fixing lots of minor issues. Runs strong, A/C blows cold and shifts perfect. Paid $1500.00

I have an '02 crew cab. My dome light comes on with the doors being opened. The two lights beside it only come on when the buttons are pushed.
