I just crawled under there and there’s a quick disconnect at the rear bumper frame which is nice. Is there another one on the frame leading up to the reservoir or is it just one straight shot?

Splicing it is probably what I’ll end up doing
I'm not sure if there is another one underneath the frame rail? But wouldn't be surprised if there was? Check on RA to see what they show. Their photos are usually very accurate. But there is another splice near the battery, which runs under the fender lip where the hood closes on.

On things like this, there's usually different parts because these trucks were made on the short wheelbase and long wheelbase. The rear carpet and headliner are good examples. The fronts are the same for Tahoe and Suburban, but the rear are longer on the Suburbans.

Rockauto.com

Generally has the best prices, even after shipping costs and shipping is usually pretty fast. Check out the 5% discount code @ORVietVet is nice enough to keep updated.

RA just has the forward hose for the front wipers. Found this image below looks like one long hose section from the rear connector to the reservoir. My break is on the reservoir side of that rear connector

Splice job incoming

Pretty exciting time in our household.. wife is looking to start driving the Burb, she needs more space. Almost 5 months of ownership and she’s rock solid. I’m moving 4 Car seats over to the Burb this weekend and she’ll test it out for a week or so, while I get her car ready for sale. It’s a 2WD 2018 Yukon with 68k miles and the 6.2 and 10L80.

Hoping that sells and then we have no car payments.. don’t know what I’ll be getting yet but other things to worry about first

EDIT: why not get another GMT800?? with a budget of say ~5k how do you think i could do with an extended cab 1500 or tahoe?

SUVs are usually much better cared for, and actually less price over pickups. I think it's because trucks tend to be used for work trucks as well, and everyone and their cat and dog in the City want a short bed 1500 truck 'cause they are wicked cool.

Here's a good example. Not a fan of those wheels, but one-owner and pretty low mileage. Condition looks good overall: https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...place_top_picks&referral_story_type=top_picks

Another one example. Looks fair. https://www.facebook.com/marketplac...wse_serp:d34bb375-456b-4d60-8d17-d4dc84ffce5a

I'd say with cash on hand, you can negotiate and get a very nice and reliable GMT800.

good insight and nice find!! i agree on SUV's being better cared for than trucks
i'm confident I can find another single owner tahoe / burb at the right price point.. found this one that might be exactly like what I'm looking for (it is $7k but just an example)

@stutaeng and he just reduced the price to $5k for that maroon/red Tahoe... like he read my mind. confirmed it's not a 4x4, tires less than 1000 miles on em, no weird smells and no leaks
