Need some help

I'm putting a headlight flasher in my truck. Where's the best place to get power from? And best switchable source to use? Also best place to run wire through the firewall for a switch?

The little battery box near the alternator for power, place a switch somewhere on the dash bezel like the flat spot behind the signal arm, you'll see near where the steering shaft comes through fire wall there's a few spots where wire bundles come through, sneak in by one of them

use a fuse tap thats how i have my gauges just get a meter to see what on when the trucks on

Not very hard, just pop the dash bezel off and it'll be easy to get at the cover piece and stuff, if you wanted you can always drill into the same spot my extra switches are
