North dakota 2500HD

Just alittle intro here on myself, i am from north dakota. I just got a 2002 chevy 2500HD 6.0 ext cab long box 150k from my dad. I was wondering if there are any mods i can do to anything that will make life on the trail alittle easier as i will be driving it to college some 6 hours away, thanks!
