O2 sensors...

Ok so I have a 2002 4.3l V6 2wd 1500 and a while back my SES light came on and I finally checked it and had quite a few codes in there...

P0134
P0135
P0141
P0154
P0155
P0157 (pending)

So after looking up the codes they are all related to the O2 sensors, so I replaced both upstream and the downstream on bank one. And fired up the truck and the SES light was still on, so I checked the codes again and all of them are still there.....

What am I missing??

Dumb question but did you clear the system?

By "clear the system" do you mean clear the codes?? If so then yes, or at least I believe so this scan tool is new to me but I chose "erase".

Hm okay. I just feel the system doesn't realize that it has new sensors

Pull your positive off the battery let it sit then try again

Ok well maybe it just needed some time because driving home from work tonight the SES light turned off!!

Truck takes a little while to recognize the new sensors... It's the same with any codes
