After not finding much information on this topic, i am resulting in asking a simple question:

Will the Bucket/Captain's Seats directly bolt in in place of the "Bench" seat (the seats with the middle jump seat)?

I've removed the center jump seat/console, but now I am left with an empty void where my arm has no place to rest other than the steering wheel lol. Any help/ advice on this topic is welcomed and appreciated!

I wish I could answer this question but I am in the dark on this. Are you planning to add the center console as well?
I'm entertaining the thought of fitting the center console. From my understanding, it 'should' bolt right up. I'm primarily concerned about just getting some arm rests for comfort. I'd be ok with building/sourcing a center console later though.

Yes, the jumpseat middle seat is completely interchangeable with the console/bucket seats. The cab bolts/studs are all the same for the trucks.

I deleted the center console in my 99 Silverado for a jumpseat. Also did the same on my 06 Suburban. On the trucks, the full length console will have the AC ducts for the rear. And if you have the Bose option, you gave a subwoofer and the amplifier under the console. But you can put the console w/o any of that.

The only drawback if you want to add the full length console, you have to get the kickboard/glovebox that matches because they are all integrated. Unless you get the shorter console....

Very informative. Thank you. I'm assuming that the seats should bolt up as well? Will I need a different wiring harness for those seats?

Yes, that's what I meant. I don't recall exactly, but I think the 2 studs on each of the jumpseat (or center console) are shared by the 2 under bolts of the seats. Maybe some of those are actually bolts, not studs. It's been a while.

As for the electricals, that going to depend on what features your truck came equipped. My 99 had power seats, and the ones I swapped were the manual, so not real issues.

I think some guys have added all the bells and whistles like console, power/heated seats, power/blinker mirrors, etc. to base work truck RCSB trucks. You just have to bring all the wiring harnesses and stuff. This is more for like the 03+ trucks. The 99-02 had more limited wiring/BCM integration. I'm sure it's possible though.
