were these the ones in constant touch with the control arms or the things that keep an axle from bottoming a spring?I don’t think these were stopping many bumps anymore! I used the MevoTechs to replace them. I went that route because I could only find one good original one, the other, although new, was already roached out.
I don’t understand how/where and why?Is it possible to combine the use of both the 1500 & the 2500 bump stops on the front of a Tahoe?

Want to use as liberal an interpretation of the concept of 'GM OE' as possible to increase my front spring rate, among many other things.don’t understand how/where and why?
You could probably use the 2500hd ones in the same spot as the oe 1500, iirc the 1500 have an extra bracket on top of them so they are taller, but the 2500 just bolts directly to the bracket. So may be able to have both in contact with the control arm?Want to use as liberal an interpretation of the concept of 'GM OE' as possible to increase my front spring rate, among many other things.
Prefer to use GM OE over aftermarket whenever / wherever possible.
Goal is a 6.0L, 4.10-axles GMT821 that can be both a PPV AND an SSV at once, using 'GM OE' parts to prove that GM was not really trying hard enough.
