Hi all! My name is Andrew and I'm from the Houston area. I've owned a couple of 800s before, a '99 Sierra SSE, which was my first new vehicle, and an '05 Silverado. I moved on to a subcompact Sonic in 2011 but I've rejoined the decorated halls of full-size Chevy ownership with my '01 Suburban.
I sold my 2012 Sonic Turbo, which I loved, because I was tired of using the clutch in traffic. I was wanting a 400 Suburban like my father's '99 but I wasn't having any luck finding one that was good enough. My grandfather passed away in December and my grandmother offered me his '01 Suburban C1500 LT to me for a good price, so I bought it.
That was a few weeks ago. Since then I've been busy making plans, buying and installing parts, removing parts and getting the audio system up to snuff. I'll post a build thread to document my plans and the changes.
