@Goat, welcome back to the forum. Very nice looking truck/ Like the stance. I hope you can see the forum is busier and more members. Hope that you will stick around this time. I joined a while back and also left because of lack of forum interest but I could not let it go. Because of my 2 trucks, K2500HD and Tahoe Z71, this is the perfect forum. Post more pics when you get a chance. I gotta ask, how noisy are those tires on the highway?

They make some noise, but it isn't bad.
I know, you get used to it. I have had aggressive tread designs before and that was when I was running on some trails, at the time. At my age now, I am strictly a pavement pounder and like the quiet. My girl likes it quiet too.

Yea, I still work her and got to have them. It's nowhere near a mud grappler or bogger though.

Back in the day, I am talking 30 years ago, I had a 73 Blazer that I trailered to trails and obstacles for fun and had Swampers on it. Illegal to drive it on the streets. I put it thru rock crawling, crazy trails and mud runs. It's nickname was BRUTUS.

I have tamed down quite a bit, at 72, and like the smooth comfortable feel of the GMT800's. I thought about a 1/2 ton Z71, to match my Z71 Tahoe, but am gonna take some time with a trailer on the road with my girl and I know the current 2004 Silverado K2500HD will easily handle what we are planning.
