Reason for not both is guns are more expensive and rent was ridiculous. My mortgage is almost 300 less per month than my rent was. 486 vs 745 4 bedroom 2 bath 2200 sq ft vs 1 and 1 790 sq ft.

What type of 33s are you running? I have 285/75r16s with 3.73s and I want 4.56s. LS motors love to rev and raising the place your truck cruises at wouldn't be harmful IMO. I would look into 4.30s or 4.56s if I were you.

sorry just saw your post im running cooper at3's

I definitely live within my means right now two weeks pay will cover every bill I have in a month. Plus my wife makes decent money. The reason my fun things take time is because we both have perfect credit and I prefer to have the money in the bank, on top of my emergency funds, before I spend a penny.

Oh those are pretty light tires for an AT. They're actually lighter than my HTs. You got any complaints about them?

not one bit i love them more than my sucky bf a/t they were loud and bump steer on anything but the coopers are perfect for me but i still cant do a burnout :(

I loved my bfg ATS lol. But I've heaed more recent sets have been some terrible tires. Of course mine could've been loud and I couldn't hear them over my exhaust.

So, what I have read so far is going to a 33" tall tire you are all saying 4.56 gears when coming from a 3.73. So in my case my truck has 3.42 gears and 265's and would like to go to a 285 and 4.11's. Sound about right?

I was thinking 4.11's mainly due to the fact that my truck see's 95% city driving, nothing over 45 mph, and I tow a lot with my truck. Everything from my boat and camper up to my flatbed with cars, trucks or tractors. The fastest my truck has gone (keeping with the speed limit) is 55 mph. 4.11's would give me a little more down low where I need it. I guess it would almost be cheaper just to find someone with a set of axles with factory 3.73 gears and swap them out at this point then. I am not dead set on 285's either. I may go with a 295, as I have the rough country leveling kit and 1.5" body lift, not sure 285's would fill up the fender gap as much as I would like.

If you go higher than 285 then 3.73 if you go higher than 35's either 4.11 or many people opt for 4.56 which is not really necessary unless u go 37's
