New to GM/Chevy

Hello, my wife recently purchased a 2006 Suburban (no pictures to post yet). It is 2wd with the 5.3L engine. So far I have been really impressed with how nice it is for long drives (which is what we bought it for).

I have a lot of experience with Jeeps (XJ - Cherokees, YJ - Wranglers) and do all my own maintenance on them and hope to be able to do the same on the Suburban.

Lining up for running the Mojave Road. I would HIGHLY DISCOURAGE anyone from attempting to run the Mojave Road in a 2wd Suburban, especially one on 20's with street tires. My wife happens to be an excellent driver and we had a large group of very capable vehicles in case she got stuck or broke down.
