I have a 2003 gmc ecsb 1/2 ton. When the truck is shut off how do I turn the radio on so it doesn't kill the battery? It comes on when I click it foward but the battery light comes on and I don't feel like being stranded. On my 93 chevy I can just turn the key one click backwards and leave it on all night long

I'm sure it's something stupid, thanks everyone

Starting in '99 (I believe) the one click back was replaced by the one click forward. As long as you're just running your radio (and not your lights and other accessories) you should be OK as long as your battery is strong.
