IMO, if the pulsation is caused by a warped rotor that is far enough out of spec, do not machine, replace it and check the new rotor for runout. If the old rotor is machined, it is now thinner and more prone to warping easier again.
Looks good. Anything is better than the factory flat black look.Looks great @ORVietVet !
I popped the panels on the 06 in a hurry because it's my daily driver...not too shabby.
I'm still trying to pickup some experience and confidence to refinish my 99. At least the roof.
See https://www.gmt800.com/threads/stutaengs-2006-suburban-2500.9175/page-2 for resolution, post #28.So I ordered a set of hub/bearings from Rockauto. I went with the Timken brand. Unfortunately, I'm out of town all week for work, so hopefully I will install them in week 2. Will update that on my other thread for this vehicle...
I drove our 2020 Express passenger van and it too has the same issue, I think. Steering wheel shakes, but it's actually worse. Will have to diagnose that one soon. It's got like 25k on the odometer, so not sure what do as gameplan. I ordered 4 new tires, so I'm going to rule that out first.
