Your opinion? Parking lights.

What would you run? I currently run amber on the two outside lights and white center, but I have individual switches for all 4 lights, including off ( ) in the centerconsole. (I could run with non-symmetrical just to piss off oncoming drivers with OCD, but it would probably hurt my own OCD more )

It's kind of opposite in Norway, here we like to have some of our forward parklights being amber, especially if it's an American car. We call them "US parkinglights" :-D Very few european carbrands make OEM amber lights in front, only ones I can think of right now are BMW and Volvo, and they only have them as kind of sidemarkers.

That's funny. Here in the southwestern US it seems most people tend toward all white, with yellow being a "retro" option. I even swapped the front markers on my motorcycle to switchbacks so they're additional road lighting when I'm not signaling.

Typically I think of them all white too, though the amber isn't bad, they all look interesting.

If you're asking for an opinion about aesthetics, there is NO accounting for taste; can never be sure 'your' tastes are even really 'yours'.
Functionally, amber works better in bad weather, & tires night vision more slowly.
Prefer high beams & low beams 4500K-5000K, everything else 4500 or amber-er.

That's not an option!

But yeah, that's what 6 or 8 on mods are for IMO.

Those lights don't come in color-changing option? LOL Then you can simply change the configuration at will.

I've noticed some of the LED lightbulbs for you house now have switch selector for changing the color, from the blue-ish LED to the traditional warm soft-white like the old incandescents.

Wrap-around lights. The US law states "Side marker lamps are lamps which show to the side of the vehicle, mounted on the permanent structure of the vehicle as near as practicable to the front and rear edges to indicate the overall length of the vehicle. Additional lamps may also be mounted at intermediate locations on the sides of the vehicle."

Once you could see headlight and tail light assemblies from the side, it was no longer needed to have separate lighting.

i am sure something i drove in the 90s, so it was 70s or 80s vintage had a light on top of the fender pointing back that was just a turn signal repeater so you knew it was on, or something

GM has done this, but it wasnt a requirement. the sidemarker will always be opposite of the turn signal when its flashing, the sidemarker is not, when its not flash, the sidemarker would cut, etc. so it looks cool lol

heres the rear of my Park Avenue. the Side marker is down low and stays solid red when lights are on because at a square-side view the tail lamp (the bottom of the tail light on the body) isnt visible enough for the regulations so they needed the sidemarker.

Yes, the front turn signal would flash and the side marker would be out and then the front t/s would be out and the side marker would flash.

Haha, no, by law here in Norway you only get to have one set of parking lights for some stupid reason... If I want to have parkinglights on in the cars original lights, all others must be off, if I want to have parkinglights in the buckets I have to disable the cars parkinglights and then only 2 of the buckets can be lit, hence the switches I installed. Got pulled over by what you guys would call DMV or DOT or whatever, and got an order to get them "fixed", aka turned off. This was before I installed the switches for on-on-off... Next time I will just turn them off and act stupid before they take a picture...
