Well it was my clutch fan, I bought a new one for $57 from Autozone and installed it tonight, took it for a test drive and wow, she is a different animal now. Ass dyno says I'm in a LS engine and not a 4 cylinder now. This weekend I will load the mower up on the trailer and go for a test drive just for a direct comparison. I may still do efans and keep the clutch for backup. Think I will also get a Diablo predator to remove torque management. My transmission is fresh with a shift improver kit and should be able to handle the extra stress.

they did away with the diablos they bumped away from like the u7193 just save for a blackbear

Very true haha My work truck is a 2014 ram 2500 crew cab long box, I spend more time in that thing and driving it than my trucks, I don't mind driving it surprisingly smooth for a 2500, it's a pig on fuel tho but atleast it's not a ford hahaha, be nice to have a new GM though haha

Haha my company truck is a p.o.s. F-150. I hurry home just to get out of it after work.
But I've got a Dodge that I picked up for diet cheap to replace the girlfriend's old Nissan. I don't mind driving it at all, but I'd trade it for a Chevy in a heartbeat

That's not too bad. My work truck has about 115,000 miles and has had so many problems compared to my personal truck, my 2000 Sierr, with 220,000 miles

At the risk of being Captain Obvious, if you have the 293 (4.8) engine with the 3.42 rear end (versus the 3.73 or 4.10), the vehicle is likely to feel sluggish when towing. If you feel that your vehicle performs normally when not towing, then the 3.42 "highway" rear end may be your issue when towing.
