PCM Hammer to read the PCM. TunerPro to modify the file. PCM Hammer to write it back. Did a VATS deactivation on mine. Took about 10 minutes altogether.

That's pretty nice! Do you you know if you can also calibrate gear ratio and tire size? If so, that makes it an incredible value, especially since just to be able to reflash anything thru HP Tuners is $100 for the 2 credit required.

I actually agree, but if you don't EXPLAIN WHY, you sound more like you're ordering a stranger around, than sharing knowledge.

Unfortunately I don't know enough about why to be more helpful, but I thought it had something to do with preventing the tank from ballooning?

Yea deleting the system entirely wouldn’t allow the tank to vent properly causing all kinds of issues. Not to mention a really powerful smell of gas from the front and rear of the vehicle

I’ll start out saying I know I’m all over the place with this 1! Waiting on parts to show up has me thinking…here in Indiana we don’t have emissions requirements. So I’m thinking an evap delete is an option. Has anyone done it? Thoughts on doing it?

Retain your EVAP system and keep it fully functional. Don’t delete it.

I'll be sure to remember to ask you why, then crack open a Bud Dry, if only because I don't remember when you didn't have a good answer as to why.

Also, I thought whaanmbulances have fully functional evap systems.
