rear door open

I have a 2003 Tahoe LT With a rear door alarm that goes off sometimes.

the cluster display tells me that my rear door is open, but it is closed.

I need to og back and Close it hard.

so i think it is the sensor. is it hard to fix? part number?

is it the 2nd row or the lift gate thing
if its the rear gate its so so to get to just pull the tabs and slide the panel up sorry dont know part number

My '01 does this too. No need to really slam the liftgate, just close it with more attention on the left side. Then check, if the door sits firmly in place. I think it is the watherstripping rubber that causes this.
