Did the 4-HI mod today. Very simple. Mine technically has 6-HI because of the way the PO wired the fog lights

For now I'm not a huge fan. I want a way to retain my DRLs. I'm planning to make my fogs work as DRLs as well but I'm waiting till I get my leveling kit. I don't think it would like right unless it was lifted a bit

Switchbacks will retain them. I have the 3 inch rough country kit on this. I want bilstein 5160s or 5100s to get rid of the shock extenders

That's the plan, rough country kit with 5100 shocks.

Hm. White switch backs with one a parking/drl light?

Well didn't get anything for Christmas or my truck besides vent visors. They look pretty good and make a huge sound difference. Pics to follow. Since I didn't get anything I wanted, I ordered those depo headlights.

Picked up some extra turn signal sockets as well. Will make the fogs into drl and then have a full turn signal.

I added a suburban dome light today. It's bigger and has map lights. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1451413992.901578.jpg

My headlights came in today, no pics as it was dark when I installed them. Yesterday I converted the DRLs to turn signals. I also used the POs fog light harness for a temporary DRL harness. I found my truck is 100% prewired for factory fog lights I just need to find where they are hiding in the headlight harness.

New wheels and suspension setup, I really want chrome moto metal 962, but they don't make then in 20x10 like i want. The plan is for the RCX leveling kit and a 1.5in body lift, using 2500hd parts to hide the gaps.

I feel the pain on the moto metals or any 20x10 wheels period. Good call on the DRL. I plan on doing the hd conversion soon. After I get my exhaust and tint done. Have you though about looking in to a z71 tahoe valence?

I have thought of one of those. But I really want the 01/02 HD valance. There's not many out there and it would look great with a led bar. What are you doing for exhaust? Tint too. I want to have the side windows tinted to match the privacy glass and then have the shield done a bit

Something along the lines of this for exhaust

And for tint I'm going as dark as I possibly can for my back window, extended cab windows and brow and 5% on my driver and passenger front windows

Got a new-to-me bumper today. It's from a obs but I'm sure I can make it work. It's kinda beat up but I couldn't pass up for 50 bucks. I'm debating wether to color match it or just go black.

If you can get it to work, I personally would color match it. See if you can find some small LED pods to throw in the oval holes as back up lights.

Yeah I think color matching would look sweet. I think I'm going to get some 6" oval lights like on semis and trailers. Probably led because they're pretty cheap.

I did some cutting on it tonight and holy crap those brackets are thick. That's not fun to cut without a torch. Using a cutoff wheel blows!

Read online today that trucks (other than base models) are prewired for auto dimming mirrors and compass. Decided to put that to the test and pleasantly found out that is true! Just need to add a few wires for my temp sensor

I've heard they're pre wired for fog lights as well. I'll be finding out soon enough
