cluster upgrades

everyone should know that for gmt400s you can get a esky cluster for your truck so you have a 120 mile an hour cluster, is there an option like that for a 2000 Z71?

I don't know what work is involved but you might be able to put a 01-06 esky cluster in

Well I know I've seen the escalade cluster swapped in a lot on the gmt800 so I know it's doable. Maybe someone else will chime in with info about if it's plug n play or what work is involved

2000-2002 are compatible. 2003+ use completely different wiring.

okay i must have! anyone know where to find one, and can what does it take to get the trans temp gauge to wokr?

i do have a couple of junk yards that ive found and re sold obs esky clusters but never have i seen a nbs, does the trans temp work?

trans temp work fines. All the wiring is there, just the cluster is needed... it's plug n play

how did you get yours? i looked on ebay and the cheapest ive seen is $248 and prices range all the way up to over $500

i even looked into some new needles to clean it up a bit and they are all $48 for just the neeedles!
