The rear door panel lights were apparently also deleted on the SUV/crew cabs. Looks like it was a 99-02 thing only. I've been meaning to add those on my SUVs.

I'm not sure if the low coolant level switch can also be added? Next time I mess around with HP Tuners I'll see if there's a checkbox for that somewhere.

You would need to program the IPC most likely. The ipc, if I had to guess, after 2003 is not designed to hear an input from the switch. But it also may be that it can work without it. Being that it requires flashing to change the internal workings of the IPC(even the brightness of the led indicators) , I’d say you need to re-enable it

It may also be like the steering wheel controls, just hook up

It seems that the external fuel filter deletion (or actually, incorporating it into the fuel pump) was a cost savings without any real effect on users - why no effect?
1- the fuel pumps usually die well before the fuel filter would get plugged
2- The fuel lines, and the fuel pump outlet line, are likely to get rusted out before the filter gets plugged :rolleyes:
Yes, negative comments, but I still love my Yukon, and bought it knowing these issues because, once addressed, the run for a long time, are reliable, and fairly easy to maintain and repair.

2003-2004 running change, the steering wheel lock in the column was discontinued
If the trucks came with passkey III, this would be a non issue.

but passlock and no security trucks they should have kept it, because its not much but one more anti theft deterrent would have been smart
I question the years on this, based 100% on my experience -towing- these vehicles, particularly when many of them were still new.

1999-2000 pickups had locking columns.
2001-up pickups do not - unless equipped w/manual transmission

None of the GMT800 SUV's I've towed had locking steering columns that I can recall. It always puzzled me why the SUV would have a different column than a pickup, since the GMT400's used the same part across the board whether pickup or SUV.

The little air filter box life monitor also got deleted. * I frankly never figured out how use or read that little gadget.
If you mean this thing.
Is fairly simple, read it when the engine is running. If the indicator gets to the red your filter is blocked.
If your filter is blocked the suction on the gauge side of the system is strong enough to overcome the spring and moves the disc/plunger.
Clean or replace the filter as you see fit.
