No pics on this one.

I didn't receive any key fobs when I bought the truck, just 2 aftermarket cut keys.
I was fairly certain that the SLT model would have fobs, but wasn't 100% positive as no pickup that I previously owned had fobs from the factory, just the suv's did.
With the RPO printout that I got from the dealer, I was able to determine that this truck did have fobs from the factory.
The ID on the remotes would've been: KOBUT1BT 15732803

So I hit up ebay again.
2 remotes with OEM electronics and brand new aftermarket cases and buttons, $18.05 shipped.

The new fobs arrived today. I programmed them to the truck. They work as they should minus other faults with the lock/unlock system that prevent the remotes from reaching their full potential.

Another ebay order came in yesterday. This time it was an aftermarket set of both door lock actuators. It was $82.36 shipped for both.

Pretty straight fwd to swap out.
The downside is that the plastic rod clips on the new units offer too much play when reconnecting the rods. So I swapped out the new aftermarket clips for the OEM units. Much better fit.

Now my pwr locks work 100% as they should. Interior light also now comes on when you pull on the locked drivers door handle. Even the horn now sounds when the truck is locked by the fob.

Driver's part # was Valeo 16636565
Passengers tag was unreadable.

Not much on the truck today.
Using new to me parts that I picked up this past Saturday after I washed them.

Replaced the Courtesy Light assembly on the RF.
OEM part # 15021518

Also replaced the Wedge on the RF door as it had a broken mounting pin on it.

While only minor improvements, still improvements nonetheless.

Started on the driver's door today.

1st was replacing the Window Stabilizer Assembly.

Mine was broken in half. Not sure how that happens?
I got my new-to-me from that 04 Sierra Denali as the door was already opened up & heavily stripped.

As you can see in the next picture, the 04 unit has a 2nd tab. So somewhere between 2000 & 2004, there was a part revision.

So I just bent the tab flat & installed it.

The part # on the 2004 unit is: 15175367

The next picture shows the location of the10mm bolt that retains the Window Stabilizer Assembly. Just incase you weren't sure.

Evidently there has been several revisions. I'm not sure what the differences are or when they happened?

I also swapped out the battery tray.

OEM part # 15039052

I didn't know that the hardware was that bad looking. I only saw the edges of the tray w/ the battery installed. I'll grab the replacement hardware next time I'm back @ the Yard.

Last but not least, installed both watershields on the driver's door.

Small shield didn't have any part numbers on it.
Large shield came from the 04 Sierra Denali & has part # 15099926
The part # on a LG shield from a 00 Silverado is: 15046919

So @ some point there was a revision in the shield.
The change is in the door panel clip area. The 00 has recessed pockets.
The 04 has full openings.

I didn't grab the 00 unit because it was torn.

As the backside was no longer sticky, I used 3m duct tape to install it.
