The cladding is the plastic trim above the running boards, and connects to the front and real wheel fenders. I like the clean look of the suburbans that didn't come with it. If I take it off, I believe I will have to remove the running boards, but at least it would make it look like it is not sitting so close to the ground.Also, what do you mean by “remove all the cladding”? Gotcha, I had a feeling that’s what you were referring to. I personally like it on non-black Z71s as it breaks up the color a little bit like a two tone.
