Also, what do you mean by “remove all the cladding”? I wouldn’t touch a thing on that exterior
The cladding is the plastic trim above the running boards, and connects to the front and real wheel fenders. I like the clean look of the suburbans that didn't come with it. If I take it off, I believe I will have to remove the running boards, but at least it would make it look like it is not sitting so close to the ground.
But, I'm in not hurry to, and I think my wife and kids would appreciate the running boards more than anything else, haha!

Gotcha, I had a feeling that’s what you were referring to. I personally like it on non-black Z71s as it breaks up the color a little bit like a two tone. But I get wanting to remove it on the black paint.
I imagine You can keep the factory side steps for the family and just remove all the plastic trim..

Not saying to do this, but some views underneath and without the factory cladding
