Is 20in wheels needed for this upgrade?
I think so. I have some 2018 wheels I installed last summer, because I wanted to do a k2xx rear axle swap...I will likely have to get something different, due to the big brake fronts.

I drove a rental Silverado last week when I was in Amarillo, and I liked the brakes...

I also ordered a headliner for my 04 project Suburban. I wasn't sure which color it was and went with something that seemed was going to match the pillars, which is darker than the headliner. This company also will send you free samples so I basically ordered all colors to see which one my 99 Silverado best matches.

Well, I'm not sure which one to go with. I've got that tan interior color. Again, the headliner is different than the pillars...and I never realized my sun visors are yet a different color. You can order additional material for the visors, so that's not really a problem.

I'll do the suburban first which seems like a bear, before tackling the Silverado.

That is harder than I thought on choosing the color, not sure which I would pick either.

Who did you go with for the headliner material? Mine needs to be done sometime and I’ve also got the tan interior.

This place. You can order the free samples and compare before deciding. Make sure you order the right cab length. There's regular cab, extended cab and crew cab. And they have the option for visors and moon roof if you have that.

As for the adhesive, I'll order this weld wood contact adhesive. They say this is the best product for headliners for professional results: https://a.co/d/9i9T3vX

What do you guys think of this color scheme? I had never seen it, but my buddy Shakenfake from PT.net/SS says it's factory. Paint looks very nice, like it was garaged or parked under a carport. Very clean truck with low mileage for a DEAL!

I will look for another GMT800 down the road for my little boy who's 7. He's already asking what truck I'm gonna give him when he's older, lol. Apparently my older son (13) already told him he's getting this 99 brown/gold truck :)

Somebody buy it!

My last truck was spiral gray on top and silver on bottom. I’ve seen a few with that goldish color on bottom. Thing I thought was weird about those, the tailgate is all 1 color even though that stripe follows the lower body line.

I had to get this pic from my album on ss

Like @4silverado, I have seen the two tones before but like you said, they are few and far between. My recent sale of my girls 1990 GMT400 K2500 light duty 6 lug ext cab was 1 of about 1300 GM 1500/2500/3500 trucks that year with the brown/gold two tone look. I do like the two tone because I do like contrast.

I remember my first car was given to me by my mom and dad but I had to pay for insurance and fuel and upkeep. It was a 1965 Pontiac Lemans, 2 door all red with black interior.

I noticed some pretty bad vibrations when driving on the highway like at 70-75 mph+. Yesterday I checked the tires and there some significant play in the hub. So I ordered some GM Genuine front wheel hubs. I rebuilt the entire front end, and that was the only thing I didn't replace, so I'll do that when I do the big brake upgrade I guess.

I used the old girl to haul some pressure treated 2x12s and concrete mortar bags this morning. I really NEED a 2500 truck, preferably with a long bed. My wife has gotten tired of seeing my old OBS junk truck on the backyard (no longer running), with junk in the bed. Beater truck needs to go. I'll hope to replace it with 2500HD.

I finally painted the dash bezel. I picked up SEM paint from Summit Racing and used an adhesion promoter I had bought at O'Reilly's. Looks a tiny bit off, but it's close enough.
