no flares unless its necessary to be street legal in your area imo

Why's that? I'm sure they're supposed to be on there but I don't really care haha. I think the flares add a good bit of detail to trucks with wide wheels. There's no way I'd run them with stock wheels though

20x10s would look sweet in a simple level. If you go that route post up fitment and all that junk so I know what to expect lol

Got the other bedside done

After some filler to blend in the welds

It's primed that off blue color like the rest of the truck.

All I need to do now is buy a cowl hood and replace a door and start priming/painting

Thursday night I started pulling out all the old brake lines and most just crumbled in my hand. I got a new GM prebent kit and installed that. No pics because that is the biggest PITA ever. Also when I went to bleed the brakes the bleeders were stripped and not coming out so I got new rear calipers and did the backing plates while I was there. Later this year I will have to pull the axles and install new parking brake hardware as that was toast too.

Since I pulled the bed off to do the rear lines my dad decided it would be a good time to do more bodywork. So we're doing some today and then going to put the bed on tonight so I can go to school tomorrow

My dads friend polished my tails

Lastly I demolded. I need to buff out some lines and it shows off how bad my passenger side door is

My birthday was last Saturday (4/16) and I was given some new truck parts!
I got tow mirrors and a painted bumper cap. Took the truck for a few nice pics with the new mirrors

Basically the only pic I have with the new bumper cap (next to my dads 00 silvy).

Today I got my 2500 torsion bars and I hope to get them in soon.

Almost forgot, these turn signals are junk! I have never hit anything or put pressure on them. Looks like I will have to scrape up $45 to get the nice Classic Industries signal housings.

I'll try. They are used, new ones are about $230 a piece! They're off a 03 with around 100k so I think they should be good yet

Actually yes. I got them installed last night. I did not do keys as in the 2500 trucks they use 1500 keys to lift/level it.
Here's a comparison pic. Both 2500s are to the left of a 1500
d50a8c23a38fdd863a8ea8d5fdc32206.jpg

I put them in with the help of my friends, the first time we couldn't clock them right and tried to see if it would hold its weight...
6cf14922301b09f34d6b2015a3541d75.jpg

It didn't. So then we took it all back apart and flipped the bars side to side and that seemed to be the solution
9057e3b92e6301e1e6e7813504c498d6.jpg

It sat about 38" on each side (right where I want it) but it settled over night to about 37 3/8" and I'm happy with that. It's 3/8" higher then the rear and still looks good IMO
