Got all my tie rod parts and just assembled them for now (got my bilstein shocks too, not pictured)

I also realized my steering wheel is pretty wore so while I was on my quest to find a nice upgrade I stumbled across a Sierra HT wheel that had never been installed on a truck. So I felt the need to pick it up as so few of these trucks are out there.

I'm not sure if I'll install it (not sure yellow goes good with pewter)or keep it just to have, after all my friends call me a parts hoarder. I am really after a escalade wheel that has wood, but I have a hard time finding one for a decent price.

I'd like one of those escalade wheels and some inner escalade door handles and maybe some outers too lol

I wish I could find a whole escalade that I could take everything off of! I can't decide between outer esky handles or color matched handles

Fully loaded Yukons, Tahoes, suburbans, and avalanches have painted handles most times! Check at your pick and pull

In case you've been wondering what or where I've been, the answer is work! I got a great job doing "starter" work to become a electrician. I hope to become a apprentice soon.

Since I got that job I've been carpooling. So that means I rarely touch the truck during the week and maybe drive it on the weekends. Here's a current pic, I can't seem to locate rust (and dent) free doors in my area, otherwise I'd have tinted windows and find another CMed handle. I'm going to try to find some local 1500 lift keys and try those on my t bars as they have settled more then I want.

Edit- before anyone asks that isn't rust but mud on the fender lol

Well I ended up buying a Volant CAI off of amazon randomly, so that'll be going in tomorrow! I'm pretty excited to see what sound difference and if it affects performance and mpgs at all

Got it installed last week. Only problem I ran into is the new tube rubs the shroud a bit, so that'll be modified later.

Here's a pic showing it installed and showing my filter "sock" I also bought.

Today's work included installing PTM handles. I used a rear passenger Tahoe handle for the passenger side and I would suggest yo anyone NOT to do that. Had to change some parts and a stud didn't line up.

Turns out I need a new inner tie rod along with idler and pitman arms. The plan is to hopefully get GM inner tie rods with the rough country sleeves and moog outers and moog pitman and idler arms.

Not much has been happening.

Got new steering components and a corvette servo installed. Have been debating some Speed Engineering long tube headers but maybe that'll be a Christmas gift to myself as I'm working 3rd shift and making some extra cash. Oh and I finally got the right lug nuts!

Nothing new. We got some snow but I'm watching it melt as I type this. I ordered wheels too but they only had 1 in stock? That's lame so they're on back order.

Said wheels are secret. They aren't the 2k setup I want either

Finally got my mirror 100% functioning and wired. All I needed to do was wire a plug from the fuse box to the sensor. Two connector pins at the junkyard and a sensor later it's all installed. I also picked up some painted rear Yukon door handles but I cannot figure out how to get them apart for paint

Here's the sensor hiding behind the grille

Also saw this at the yard and it really had me wondering

I used to do crap like that to hide parts I wanted, but didn't have money for. I'd also stash them in trunks of completely unrelated vehicles lol.
